- Initiatives related to tools and resources for Italian NLP
- Parlaritaliano is the first national observatory
devoted to the study of Italian speech, that offers data and tools freely downloadable. Based in the
Department of Linguistic and Literary Studies of the University of Salerno, it is funded also by the Ministero
dell’Istruzione e della Ricerca. It aims to promote the scientific exchange and the publication of theoretical
and applied research devoted to speech and spoken language.
- STILVEN is a long term project for digitalizing and making available materials, resources and tools
for studying Venetian. Started in 2008, it is today in his third year and it has produced a large amount
of data all free downloadable from the following
page. When concluded, the CD of the third year of the project will be soon made available in the
